At one time this site was a quarry, but now it’s being filled in with rock and dirt and other materials. The company in charge of the environmental restoration is AAA Monroe Rock, and the owner is Zak.  Zak started running equipment at a very young age, and he puts that knowledge and experience into practice on every project.  Overseeing the quarry restoration is Sheldon Stevens, a young, smart, hard worker. For the operation, they have three haul trucks, but plan is to replace them with Bell ADTs.

Orion Equipment, our Pacific Northwest Bell Trucks America dealer, brought a B50D and B60E, our two largest ADTs, for them to demo. Zak and Sheldon are extremely happy with the fuel burn on the Bell trucks, and look forward to adding Bell Trucks to their company.

A new hire, Holly Stevens, quickly picked up running and operating the B60E. She said, “This is a big truck! The ride and viewing area are amazing.”

The other driver, Ian has been with them 4-5 months and will be running the B50D for now. “Great ride!” he said. “This truck hauls some material.”

Maybe at some point, Holly will allow him to try the 60 ton B60E.
