Bell B25E
With a rated payload of 24,000 kg (52,911 lbs), the Bell B25E is a smaller, faster version of the larger E series models. Using the A frame design from the larger trucks, the smaller ADT range has more suspension travel, allowing for more operator comfort and higher travel speeds. Other improvements in the B25E include more up to date cab isolation, further improving operator comfort, and a larger screen display. This new monitor provides a rear camera view, for safety when reversing, as well as performance parameters and basic fault-finding tools.
Bell B25E Features
The load capacity has been increased slightly for the Bell B25E, allowing it to carry 24 tons in its 15m³ dump body. Additionally, the increased travel speed is of particular benefit when the trucks are empty and are returning to the loading point. Faster driving speeds reduces overall cycle times, which benefits productivity.
The Tier 4 Interim/Stage IIIB compliant Mercedes diesels are rated at 210kW for the B25E and feature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to help reduce emissions. The improved hydraulic system, coupled with the Allison transmission, benefits performance and lowers fuel consumption.

For improved safety and productivity the E-series has an automatically engaged Inter-axle Differential Lock (IDL) giving the vehicle full automatic traction control. A sensor on the inter-axle differential identifies when an axle loses traction and automatically engages the IDL function while the vehicle is still moving. In addition the Bell B25E ADT has limited slip differentials in each axle so the cross locking of wheels is achieved automatically without any interaction from the operator.
